It seems right that in the Caribbean, views of the azure waters and spectacular sunsets should be enjoyed to the fullest. For vacationers who like to spend their time by the pool, a resort with a great pool is a must.

At Raffles Canouan Island you may have a hard time deciding whether to enjoy ocean views by the infinity-edge pool or from one of its five hidden coves and beaches. The hotel has about 150 luxury villas (from $375/night) and a spa with over-water treatment suites.

The newly renovated Jumby Bay resort has several private villas with their own pools. The Harbour Villa Pool features infinity-edge design facing the sea.

Compass Point Beach Resort (from $330/night) is easy to get to from the East Coast. The hotel pool is right next to the ocean.

Bimini Bay Resort in the Bahamas has an infinity-edge pool facing open sea and comfortable lounge chairs from which to enjoy the view.
