The much anticipated Resort at Pelican Hill in Southern California is now open, featuring two Tom Fazio golf courses, a 23,000-square-foot spa, 128 villas and 204 luxury bungalow suites.

The resort's pool is the largest circular pool anywhere (136 feet in diameter), with tiered decks and cabanas. Inspired by the Coliseum in Rome, the pool offers scenic ocean views.

The cabanas are suite-like with private servers, wet bars, Bose music systems, flatscreen HDTVs, 12-foot-high ceilings and draping curtains for privacy.

The 504-acre resort is staffed with highly trained butlers, concierges, and chefs that cook personal meals upon request. You can expect the highest quality service.

There are several restaurants, including Andrea which serves delicious Tuscan dishes and features a glassed-in wine room with 1,200 bottles, predominantly from Italy.

The Resort at Pelican Hill is located 15 minutes from Orange County’s John Wayne Airport, and 45 minutes from LAX.

Rates for bungalows start at $695, and $1,450 for villas.
