Adrere Amellal hotel in the famous Siwa Oasis in Egypt is surrounded by untouched nature, including freshwater Roman springs, a salt lake and the dunes of the Great Sand Sea.

The eco hotel is built from a mixture of sun-dried salt, mud and sand in the traditional Siwan style. The rooms are naturally kept at a comfortable temperature year-round.

There is no electricity at Adrere Amellal - lanterns and candlelight are used to illuminate the hotel in the evening.
